Meet the fruit

Meet the Kesar - India's Queen of Mangoes

Kesar mangoes earn their name from their saffron-gold flesh - kesar means saffron in Hindi. Native to the foothills of Girnar in Gujarat and the orchards of Marathwada in Maharashtra, the Kesar has a flavour unlike any other variety: intensely sweet, delicately aromatic, and smooth enough to eat with a spoon.

What makes ours different isn't just the variety - it's the patience. We let every mango ripen fully by itself, in its own time. When you bite into a Kasliwal Farm Kesar, you're tasting fruit that has never been forced, hurried, or treated.

Season: Mid-April to late June · Origin: Maharashtra · Best enjoyed: chilled.

Our story

Two generations. One farm. Zero compromises.

Our father planted the first mango tree on this farm over 40 years ago. He wasn't building a business - he was building something to be proud of. That feeling has never left our family.

Every year, as summer arrives and the trees begin to flower, our entire family comes together at the farm. It's part harvest, part reunion. The children who used to run between the rows of trees are now the ones making the decisions - but the values haven't changed.

We have never used carbide to ripen our mangoes. We never will. Carbide ripening makes a mango look ripe - it doesn't make it taste ripe. The difference is obvious the moment you open a box from us. The fragrance hits you first. That's how you know.

We started selling directly to families a few years ago because we wanted people to experience what a mango actually tastes like when it's grown right. No middlemen, no cold storage chains, no compromises between our farm and your table.

When you order from Kasliwal Farms, someone from our family packs your box. That's not a marketing line - it's just how we do it.
